ANNITA KAMP (REHSE)

ANNITA KAMP (nee REHSE) Annita passed away peacefully on January 12, 2011 at Concordia Hospital. She will be missed and always remembered by her daughter Barbara Burgess (Paul Peterson). She was predeceased by her husband John (Hans) Kamp in February 1994. Annita was born December 21, 1922 in Aachen, Germany and grew up in Berlin. In 1953 she came to Winnipeg and married Hans in 1956. Annita spent many years working at Der Nordwesten/Kurier and Eatons while happy summers were spent at Red Rock Lake and later Camp Neustadt. Together Annita and Hans enjoyed many wonderful trips. In recent years, Annita would happily head to the casino whenever the chance came up. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation. Wenn die Kraft zu Ende geht, ist der Tod nicht Sterben sondern Erloessung. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, January 19, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Avenue.
