CLARA MARIE LUSSIER (nee Desrochers) Peacefully with her family at her side, Clara, dearly beloved wife of the late Henri Lussier passed away on Thursday January 13, 2011, at Foyer Valade at the age of 90 years. Clara was predeceased by her husband Henri in 1983, infant daughter Lucille, son Maurice, sons-in-law Roger Lambert and Robert Wilgosh and her sisters Leona and Delrise. She leaves to cherish her memory her children Liliane Lambert, Lorraine Comeau (Lucien), Grace Lussier, Linda Wilgosh, Norm Lussier (Linda) and 11 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren and two great-great-grand-children. She also leaves her sister Gracia Turenne (George), sisters-in-law Henriette Benjamin, Juliette, Gemma and Alice, and brothers-in-law Albert and Andy (Rose Marie) Lussier. Mom worked hard and devoted herself to her family. At 17 she married Dad and they farmed near Glenboro. When they moved to Winnipeg, Mom proudly got her certification as a nurses aide and she practiced at the St. Boniface Hospital for many years. Loving the outdoors, she and Dad retired at Victoria Beach where she enjoyed gardening. Mom loved music. To celebrate her 80th birthday, she went to see The Dixie Chicks concert. We will always remember Mom's homemade bread, chocolate chip cookies and lemon pies. Mom you will never be forgotten. Love always. The family expresses their thanks to the staff at Unite Marguerite Foyer Valade for their compassionate and kind care of our Mom over the last two years.
