LORETTA ANNE NOSEWORTHY It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Loretta after a long two-year struggle with cancer. She fell asleep with her sister Gina and niece Chantel at her side. Remaining to forever cherish Loretta's memory are her best friend Ted; sisters Lylian (Doug) Sanders, Christine (Alfred) Ratch, Gina (Jack), Palahitski, Janet (Clarence) Zilkie; brothers Edward Klimek, Robert (Vivian) Klimek, Daniel (Gail) Klimek; nieces Lorena Sanderson (Jordan and Tyler), Chantel Palahitski (Ethan and Joseph); nephews Jonathan and Ian Palahitski; as well as numerous cousins. She has gone to rejoin her brother Leonard; Mom and Dad; aunt Marie; and uncle John. Loretta was born in Melfort, Saskatchewan and was raised on the family farm by Uncles John, Fourier, Aunt Marie, and Grandma Valmont. She loved animals, and could always be found with a critter in her arms, tame or wild. She attended primary school in a one-room prairie schoolhouse called Tilly, and later high school in St. Brieux, Saskatchewan. She then moved to Winnipeg where she trained as a health care aide. She worked at Riverview Health Centre all her life until she was forced to retire in January, 2009 due to illness. She enjoyed reading, keeping her house immaculate, and collecting teddy bears. She was kind-hearted, generous, and completely loyal to the ones she loved. She dealt with many struggles in her life, but managed to overcome them. The family would like to thank the nurses and health care aides of Hunter Memorial Hospital in Teulon, Manitoba, who showed so much kindness and care. Also thank you to Dr. Pillay for his medical care and kindness. In spring when the flowers are awakening, Loretta will go home to her final resting place between Uncle John and Aunt Marie Valmont in the little cemetery of Kermaria in Saskatchewan.
