Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryJOHN JAMES GROEB 1940 - 2010 Peacefully on December 28, 2010 at Parkview Place, John passed away at the age of 70 years. He is survived by his son John James III, three grandchildren, one great-grandchild, step-son Cody and four step-grandchildren. He was an honorable man who'd willing give the shirt off his back if he saw someone who'd need it. He was recognized for his admirable trait by receiving the Metal of Courage when he rescued six people from a blizzard in the Yukon. He loved to gamble but it was his love of cooking he passed on to his son. Cremation has taken place and no formal service will be held at this time.
