LINDA HENRY (nee WAITE) September 7, 1955 - January 16, 2011 It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Linda Henry on January 16, 2011. After a brief and brave battle with cancer, she left peacefully surrounded by family. She leaves behind her lifelong love and husband, Cam; four children, Melanie, Cheryl, Laura and Derek; her siblings Donna, Corrigan, Mike (Alana), Terry (Lorraine), Elizabeth (Darcy), Colleen (Randal), Shaun (Amy), Tannis (Miles), and Barry (Brenda); her brothers and sisters-in-law Evelyn (Joe), Gill, Jeanette, Louise, Leonne (Bruce), Ben (Carol), Simone (Art), Coco (Marlese); along with many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She was predeceased by her parents George and Elizabeth Waite. Linda had a successful career in the insurance industry where she was well respected and had many friends. Her love and commitment to her family was like no other. She truly enjoyed her life; be it a Sunday afternoon round of golf, a rowdy game of yahtzee, travelling, music or dancing; she laughed through it all. Her strength, compassion, beauty and grace have left a significant mark and she will remain an inspiration to us all. A special thank you to the caring staff at Bethesda Memorial Hospital and Health Sciences Centre. A memorial service will be held on Friday, January 21, 2011 at the Notre-Dame de Lorette Roman Catholic Church in Lorette, MB. The Eulogy will commence at 10:00 a.m. followed by the Funeral Mass. Condolences & Memories (1 entries)

  • Dear Camille, Melanie, Cheryl, Laura and Derek. I want to express my deepest condolences and my sadness upon hearing of Linda's passing. Even though we did not see much of each other the daycare arrangement ended, I still remember fondly our friendship in High School and afterwards when we saw each other every work day for a number of years. Sincerest sympathies, Louise LaRocque - Posted by: Louise LaRocque (Friend) on: Jan 20, 2011
