ROSALIND MAY LISTMAYER (nee BENSON) March 11, 1934 - January 18, 2011 It is with great sadness that the family announces Rosalind Listmayer passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 18, 2011. Rose was predeceased by her parents, Kari and Amanda May Benson, her sister Dora and her brother Phillip. Left to cherish her memory is her constant companion and devoted husband of almost 60 years Stefan; her six children: Glen, Crystal (Heinz) Thaler, Valerie (Brent) Lindberg, Kevin (Charlene), Kari (James) MacKinnon and Phillip; her eight grandchildren; as well as her sister Eunice (Ron) Cloutier and many extended family members and friends. Rose married the love of her life on July 12, 1951. She was a clever and capable wife and an ideal complement to Steve as they rejoiced in a long and happy marriage. To her children and grandchildren she was a continuous source of love and tender affection. Rose watched over her household with constancy and hard work, providing a fine example of dedication and self-sacrifice. Though her health failed towards the end of her life, she trusted Jehovah God with all her heart and served Him faithfully to the end. We all take great comfort in the certain promise of her resurrection to life everlasting in paradise on earth. The family would like to thank Rose's family physician, Dr. Darcy Johnson, for his consistent medical care over the years. We are also grateful to the emergency staff at Health Sciences Center for their compassionate treatment and many kindnesses. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 22, at 1:30 p.m. in the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 1060 Wolever Avenue. The Coutu family in care of arrangements: E. J. COUTU CO.
