Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryEDWARD ANDERSON March 2, 1939 - January 18, 2011 It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather Big Papa , brother and uncle, Edward Anderson on January 18, 2011. Edward leaves to cherish his loving memory his wife Myrtle Anderson, sons: Dwain (Linda), Barry (Margaret), Verne (Sheila), and Ron (Norma) and daughters: Evelyn (Albert), Lorraine (John), Bertha (Martin), and Katherine (Steve). Edward also leaves to mourn his passing: 33 grandchildren, three of whom he raised as his own Lorinda, Vince and Shane Anderson and 24 great-grandchildren. God daughters Sharon Sumner and Sajata Woodhouse as well as many nieces, nephews and friends too numerous to mention. A viewing service will be held at the Deliverance Centre at 1831 Selkirk Avenue, Winnipeg, Manitoba on Friday, January 21, 2011 from 7:00 - 10:00 p.m. A wake service will be held on Saturday, January 22, 2011 at 7:00 p.m. and the funeral service on Sunday, January 23, 2011 at 12:00 p.m. Both services will be held at the Fairford House of Prayer. The family would like to extend a special Thank you to the following: Winnipeg Regional Home Care Services, Dial-A-Life Housing Unit, Seven Oaks Hospital and Dialysis unit, Charleswood Personal Care Home, Pinaymootang First Nation Chief and Council, Anderson Family Funeral Home, Howard and Rubina Traverse who helped in the care of our parents. Our baby sister Katherine Anderson who was the contact person for our family and the different health care facilities Dad was involved in. The people who visited our parents after they relocated to Winnipeg. Also to those who donated and prepared food for the services. Arrangements entrusted to 1-866-293-4951
