PETER SHUMILA Peacefully, with his family by his side, Peter passed away at Holy Family Home on January 16, 2011 at the age of 93. Cherishing his life and memory are Stella, his wife of 58 years; their daughter Pamela and son-in-law Mike, along with their family and friends. We are blessed to have Dad in our lives. We are blessed with the home he provided for us. We are blessed with the memories he gave us. Dad was a hard worker. First, as a farmer in Brokenhead then as a farm implement dealership owner in Beausejour. Many people have fond memories of time spent talking with Dad. It was sometimes difficult to get him out to socialize and it was always difficult to get him to leave. He always had fun stories to share. Dad knew everyone or their relatives, friends or neighbours. Dad was very fortunate to enjoy over 30 years of retirement. That is when he had the time to really spoil his family. He always took great care of us when he could. The last conversation we shared with Dad, he said to us, "I have no regrets!". A private family service has taken place. Thank you to Holy Family Home. We appreciate your kindness and compassion.
