JEAN INGLIS March 7, 1927 - January 16, 2011 Mom has been gently carried to heaven by angels. She will be deeply missed by her loving and devoted daughter Heather who has been by her side everyday, wonderful friend Joan who has given her time and caring to both Jean and Heather. Also Joyce and Lorne, loving friends who were always there and did so much. Also many nieces and nephews in Ontario as well as some special people at Holy Family she was very close to. Jean was predeceased by her husband John in 1984, son David in 1986, sister Anita in 1980 and brother Danny on January 6, 2011. She was born in New Toronto and moved to Winnipeg in 1971. Employed at Decca, Borough of Etobicoke and Eaton's. Mom lived for her family and friends. She took special care of her much loved poodle Amber and cat Ernie. Jean enjoyed music, golfing, skating, snow shoeing, doing crosswords and taking care of her yard and flowers. She had a great sense of humour and always a big warm smile. Cremation has taken place and a private family service was held on January 20, 2011. If friends so desire, in lieu of flowers donations may be made to Winnipeg Humane Society, 45 Hurst Way, Winnipeg, R3T 0R3 or a charity of your choice.
