DOREEN PAMELA JEFFERS October 28, 1949 - January 15, 2011 Peacefully with family by her side, Doreen Jeffers (nee Dumas) passed away January 15, 2011 at 61 years of age. Doreen was predeceased by her parents, Nora and Louis Dumas; brother Alfred Dumas; and sister Dorothy Monchamp. Doreen leaves to cherish her memory, her loving husband John Jeffers; daughters, Deanna Henschel (Cal), Tamara Jeffers (Del); step-children, Anthony Jeffers, Shelley Meger (Gord), Trish Buhr (Michael); grandchildren, Joshua, Madison, Autumn, Jillian, Edison and Ian. Her sisters, Shirley Robichaud (Jack) and Madeline Barasaloux, as well as her aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and friends. Doreen grew up and lived in Transcona her whole life. Her grandchildren were very dear to her and she spoiled them every chance she had. Doreen's family would like to extend their appreciation to the staff of Concordia Hospital ICU, as well as to her friends, Judy and Julie. Special thanks to Evelyn and Christian at Concordia for their courteous and compassionate care. As per Doreen's wishes, cremation has taken place and a private memorial will be held at a later date.
