Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryANNIE MARGARET ENGEL February 10, 1919 - January 19, 2011 Surrounded by loving family, and with God by her side, we announce the peaceful passing of Annie at Rest Haven in Steinbach, MB on January 19, 2011 at the age of 91. Annie was predeceased by her loving husband Adam in 1996, son Adam Jr., four sisters, three brothers, her parents and numerous in-laws. Annie is survived by her daughter Jackie (Murray Lamy) of Winnipeg; two sons, Duane (Marilyn) of Steinbach, James (Marie) of Kenora. Annie was blessed with eight grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren, as well as several loving in-laws. Annie was born in Rhein, SK and moved to Winnipeg in 1955, and on to the Steinbach area in 1965 where Anne enjoyed her days on the family farm, gardening, visiting, her family time, and most of all her rides with her husband Adam on Sundays. She lived a happy 14 years in Fernwood Place, St. Adolphe for 15 months, and her final two weeks in Rest Haven. Annie was a loving wife, nurturing mother, sister, grandmother and great-grandmother. The love for her family was unconditional. The funeral service will be held at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Steinbach, MB at 2:00 p.m., Monday, January 24, 2011, Pastor Dave Lowe and Pastor Don Engel officiating. Donations can be made, in lieu of flowers, to the Alzheimer Society of Manitoba or the St. Paul's Lutheran Church Memorial Fund. Arrangements by Birchwood Funeral Chapel.
