WARREN VERNON DARROCH With sadness we announce the peaceful passing of Warren on January 17, 2011, at the Maples Personal Care Home, in his 98th year. Warren was born in Swan River, MB. At the age of 13 he left home to make his way in the world. He worked on several farms in the Cardale and Moline areas. He then moved to Winnipeg where he worked in the electrical field. In 1942 he bought a farm near Oak River and started farming and later also had a small electrical business. In 1944 he married Evelyn (Putt) Moulson and they had four children: Kay, Vern (Linda), Linda (Ron) and Norm. Evelyn predeceased Warren in 1974. He later married Rose Ann Lemoine and moved to Winnipeg - first in St. Vital and later moving the Kiwanis Chateau. Rose Ann predeceased Warren in March of 2010. Warren is survived by his four children and numerous grandchildren and great-grand-children. Pursuant to Warren's wishes, no service will be held. We will miss you Pops.
