NERENA CATHERINE WILLIAMS Peacefully on Sunday, January 16, 2011 mom passed away with family members by her side. Left surviving Mom are five children: Steve (Satu), Ken (Ruthann), Phil (Lynne), Sherry (Richard), Nina (Al); 12 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. Her grandchildren and great-grandchildren were her pride and joy. Mom was born in Victoria, B.C. on December 18, 1928. The family moved to Winnipeg in 1966 where she made the North End her home. She enjoyed her time at Gwen Sector and Bleak House Seniors homes playing bridge. She was a voracious reader enjoying science fiction and medieval romance novels. No formal Funeral Service will be held. A private Service has taken place. The family wishes to extend a special thank you to all the nurses and staff at the Fred Douglas Lodge.
