JOSEPH BENNETT CLOW Joseph Bennett Clow passed away peacefully at home on January 20, 2011 at the age of 77 years. Dad was born in Summerside, PEI on December 31, 1933. He was a veteran of the Canadian Armed Forces and retired in 1982. Dad will be missed by his loving and devoted wife Marie (Decoste) of 45 years and his children Mark (Debra Lynn), John, Daryll (Susan) and David (Andrea) and his grandchildren Crystal (David), Tiffany (Jeremy), Scott, Connor, Lindsay and Brendan, and great-grandsons Trevor and Tyson. Dad is also survived by his brothers and sisters, Emily (Bill), Milford (Una), Raymond, Elaine, Alma and Kay (Joe) as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Along with his parents, Dad was predeceased by his sisters Cecilia, Helen and Irene and his brothers Junior and Ernest. Dad will always be remembered for his sense of humour, his love of music and his genuine affection for his family. He often spoke of his childhood in PEI and his service in the Canadian Military, and it would seem as though we were right there with him during those times. We will be forever grateful for the WHRA Home Care Program for their assistance in looking after Dad whenever our Mom was away. We'll miss you, Dad Memorial service will be held on Tuesday, January 25 at 2:00 p.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Avenue, Winnipeg with reception to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations in Dad's memory may be made to the Canadian National Institute for the Blind or the Canadian Diabetes Association.
