Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryLEONARD W. JONES Peacefully on January 14, 2011 at the Health Sciences Centre, Len passed away at the age of 76, with his loving wife, Beverley at his side holding his hand. Len will be dearly missed by his sons Rory and Dean (Cheryl) and grandchildren Angela, Emily, Laury, Matthew, and Connor. He will be lovingly remembered by his sister Alice, many relatives and friends, especially Olie Alto who always knew how to make Len laugh and was there for him until the very end. Len was predeceased by his brother Clarence and sister Edna. Len was born October 7, 1934 and worked at Public Press Ltd. for many years until starting up B.R.D. Specialties where he loved to help his customers with their printing solutions, and soon became close friends with many. He also worked with Michalski's and Coronet/Fahlke. Len took pride in everything he did and always tried to make his customers happy no matter what. His love for wood-working was evident in all of the amazing projects he accomplished in his garage and at Grand Marais where he spent almost 50 summers preparing the cabins for friends and family to come out and relax. Len bowled for most of his life at Chateau Lanes where he loved to just be around all of his friends in as many as four different leagues a week. He was very proud of his granddaughters and grandsons and, we know, he will be watching over them. A special thanks to the staff at Grace Hospital, especially Annette and Manny who made life a little easier for Mom and Dad during his final months. Cremation has taken place and his remains will be laid to rest at the Grand Marais Cemetery on Saturday, May 28, 2011. Friends and family are invited to the cabin that day to join us in a celebration of Len's life. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association.
