RUTH ELEDA HOOPER (nee GROSE) Bachelor of Pedagogy May 29, 1925 - January 19, 2011 Ruth was predeceased by her husband, Stanley, her parents Milton and Eleda Grose, three brothers, Rex, Glen, and Wallace, and one sister, Jean. Ruth is survived by her four children: Ken (Theresa), Larry (Gail), Brenda, Terry (Marlene), as well as seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Ruth enjoyed a teaching career at Stonewall Collegiate, Garden City Collegiate, and Red River College. On retirement she became a world traveller, was always an avid reader, and enjoyed a variety of crafts. She also volunteered on retirement at Manitoba Society of Seniors and The Department of Immigration. Later, Ruth moved to Lions Place and participated in and enjoyed the activities provided. As requested, a private family gathering is planned in place of a memorial service. Cremation has already taken place.
