Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryTAGHI ZAHEDI In Memory of Our Dear Father and Grandfather, Taghi Zahedi (September 22, 1930 - January 23, 2010) It has been one year since I was by your side in the hospital in Iran when I had to face the inevitable that I had to let you go. I still cannot believe that you're gone. You brought me to this life and you helped me build my life to the point where I am now. Now that I'm a father, I can understand how hard it was for you to help me flee our war-stricken country and let me take my journey into the unknown. It was you who came to find me in the refugee camp in Turkey when my escape plan took a different turn. I'm here today because of your love and support when you stayed nearby in a foreign land with little money and no language but persevered to get me out of that cruel concentration camp. I will never forget the hardships you endured to get me out of life's many potholes. I owe you my life and I'll cherish you and your fatherly love in my heart for as long as I live. I thank the All-Knowing who granted my wish to be by your side and to be able to say my last good-bye to you on this earthly home, despite being a world apart. My dear Father, a symbol of endurance and patience, you mean the world to me and you will always be in my heart and thoughts. May your soul rest in peace and I hope the Almighty Allah grants me one last wish to be by your side again, in the heavenly realms. Always in our hearts, Hamid, Colleen and granddaughters, Holly Azita and Melissa Anahita
