ANNE SHUPER (nee DANYLUK) It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Anne Shuper on Wednesday, January 19, 2011 at the Riverview Health Centre. Anne was predeceased by her husband Joseph in 1996. She leaves to mourn her passing, her daughter Valerie (Neil Hollingsworth) their children, Michael, Laura, Jim and Allison, and her son Raymond. Also remaining, her sisters Stephanie Yerakis, and Mary Derry, sister-in-law Anne, nephews George and Larry, nieces Kathy and Nicki, and Lorraine as well as their children. Anne was born on March 7, 1923. She was predeceased by her father Alexander and mother Justina, as well as her brother Peter. She attended William White School and Isaac Newton High School where she graduated as an honour student and Valedictorian. She attended post secondary education and obtained a secretarial science degree. Following this, she was employed by Westfair Foods for 25 years, and was an executive secretary for the president of the company, retiring in 1985. She was a lifetime member of the Polish Fraternal Aid Society of St. John's Cantius, and was a caring and loving wife, mother, grandparent and friend, she will be missed by many. A Memorial Service will be held at Thomson In The Park Funeral Home, 1291 McGillivray Blvd., Winnipeg, on Thursday, January 27, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. Flowers gratefully declined, memorial donations may be made to a charity of choice.
