MURRAY KENNETH OLSON June 22, 1929 - January 23, 2011 It is with sadness and sorrowful hearts that we announce the passing of our dear brother, uncle, and special friend. On January 23, 2011 Murray passed away, peacefully in his sleep, at Percy E. Moore Hospital in Hodgson, MB. Murray leaves to cherish his memory his loving companion Jeannette and his sisters Olive (Brolly), Doreen Olson, Connie (Don Teed), and Babe (Paul Fedourk); many nieces, nephews, and friends who thought the world of him. He was predeceased by his parents Dorthy and Stanly; sister Gwen (Pridham); brother Percy; infant sister Mildred and brother Stanly Louis. Murray was a special brother and uncle to all of his nieces and nephews, young and old. He never had a harsh word for anyone, instead he accepted them for who they were and found the good in everyone. Murray and his guitar, and a few chords brought music into many homes, strumming Hank Snow's tunes. He will be missed by all. Prayers and Viewing at the Fisher Funeral Home in Fisher Branch, MB on Wednesday, January 26, 2011 at 7:00 p.m. Funeral Service will be held at St. Matthews Church in Peguis on Thursday, January 27, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. Viewing will be from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
