FLORENCE DELORME It is with deep sadness and heavy hearts that we announce Florence Delorme (nee Dubois) passed away after a courageous battle with cancer and diabetes on January 21, 2011. She is predeceased by her husband Herb, son Albert, daughter Florence, son-in-law Charles, her parents Marie Louise Dubois and Frank Dubois, one sister Delima and brothers Frank, Jean-Baptiste, William and Herman. She leaves behind to mourn five daughters: Rose, Yvonne (Jim), Jeanne, Jeannette and Annette, two sons Aime (Shirley) and Herbert (Joyce), numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild, and one brother Marcel. Florence was born and raised in Wampom, MB, later moved to Vassar, MB when she married Herb Delorme in 1944. She and Herb, after raising their children, moved to Ste. Anne, MB. Prayers will take place at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 26 at Desjardins Funeral Chapel, 357 Des Meurons Street. Funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 27 in the Sacré-Coeur-de-Jésus Roman Catholic Church in Vassar, MB. Pallbearers will be Jim Brooks (honorary), Marcel Pelland, Raymond Culleton, Buck Duchene, Leslie Duchene, Jeffery Delorme and Michael Samms.
