Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryALETA MAE FORTIER (CLINE) On January 23, 2011 Aleta Mae Fortier (Cline) passed peacefully away at 96. Mae was predeceased by her husband Ernie, son Earl, sisters Phyllis and Dora, brothers Boyd and Earl. Mae is survived by her children, Bob Fortier (Joan), Brian Fortier (Ione) and Bonnie Wright (Chris). Grandma will be missed by her eleven grandchildren and their families, Chris, Joyce, Kim, Mike, Tracy, Bill, Kerri, Tom, Dan, Stephen and Heather. She is also survived by her sister Anne Thomas (John) and brother Neil Cline (Joan) and her many nephews and nieces. Mae was born to Lewis and Ada Cline on July 4, 1914 in Belmont, Manitoba and grew up on the family farm with her much loved six brothers and sisters. Mae and Ernie married in 1941 and raised their family in St. Vital. Although Mom was a kind and gentle soul, she displayed tremendous strength through the adversities in her life. The family would like to thank the staff at Tuxedo Villa for their care and kindness over the past year and a half and also the staff at The Grace Hospital, especially Jenna. Memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 29 at Thomson In the Park Funeral Home, 1291 McGillivray Blvd. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to The Canadian Diabetes Foundation.
