ELLA FAY AUSTFORD It is with great sadness we announce the passing of our mother, Ella Fay Austford (nee Drinnan). Ella was predeceased by her beloved husband Victor Mindy, parents William and Isabell, sister Margaret Ann Sutton and brother-in-law Richard James Sutton. Left to mourn her passing are her daughters Leslie Austford of Calgary and Tracey Yeager (Edward) of Winnipeg, granddaughters: Caledonia, Harper, and Acadia Yeager, sister-in-law Ninna Nelson (Arnold) and nephew James Sutton (Lisa and Claire). Ella grew up in Dauphin. While working at MTS in Winnipeg, she met the love of her life, Mindy. They were married in 1958. Ella spent many years as a homemaker before returning to work. When she did re-enter the workforce it was at the switchboard and inquiry desk of St. Boniface hospital. Ella's greatest joys were time spent with family, a good game of Bridge and winters in Arizona. We thank the wonderful staff at Golden West Centennial Lodge for their kind and compassionate care of Ella. We are eternally grateful. We also thank Dr. Leslie Henderson and Dr. Alan Casey for their many years of medical care. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Golden West Centennial Lodge, 811 School Road, Winnipeg, MB R2Y 0S8. Donations will be used toward the purchase of lifts, used in the assistance of patient transfers, for the second floor. We encourage everyone to visit the online memorial and leave their favourite memory of Ella - nbardal.mb.ca. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, May 27, 2011 at St. Andrew's (Woodhaven) Anglican Church, 2700 Portage Avenue. NEIL BARDAL INC. FUNERAL CENTRE (204) 949-2200 nbardal.mb.ca
