ALOVEY (LUBA) DOLINSKI (nee ZAPORZAN) It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Luba Dolinski on January 26, 2011 at the St. Boniface Hospital with her family by her side. Luba was predeceased by her husband Walter, son Frank, infant brother Morris and parents Annie and William Zaporzan. Luba will be lovingly remembered by her daughter Carol Jenkinson (Ian), son Dennis, granddaughters Krystin and Laura, brother Robert (Bob) Zaporzan (Lee), sister Nancy Lysack (Harvey), sister-in-law Helen Chaykowski (Vic), sisters-in-law Mary and Mary, brother-in-law Steve and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Luba was born November 22, 1934 in St. Malo, Manitoba. She moved to Winnipeg at a young age to go to school and work. Over several years Luba cared for more than 20 children in her home, some of which she still had contact with at the time of her passing. Luba, with her husband Walter retired to St. Malo in 1997 where she enjoyed country living. Her favourite pastime was Bingo and volunteering with the ladies of the Rosa community. She was a member of the U.C.W.L. for over 45 years. Viewing will be held between 6:30 p.m. and 7:00 p.m., Monday, January 31 at Glen Lawn Funeral Home, 455 Lagimodiere Blvd. with a funeral service to immediately follow. A private family interment will be held at a later date at Glen Lawn Memorial Gardens. Thank you to the MICU staff at St. Boniface Hospital for their care of Mom and to Aunty Audrey Yasinsky for her special friendship and rides to their many ventures.
