MARGARET (MAGGIE) IRENE WARR (nee KNOCKAERT) February 24, 1930 - January 26, 2011 It is with deep sorrow that the family announces the passing of our beloved mother, sister and auntie, Marge Warr, on Wednesday, January 26, 2011 at the age of 80. Marge will be forever missed by her daughter Cori (Terry); brother Wally (Rolande) and daughters, Brenda and Donna (Barry); sister Irene (Gord) and son Grant (Myra); brother Brian (Donna Rae) and sons, Jeff (Michelle) and Joel (Julie) and numerous great-nieces and nephews; relatives: Rene (Charlotte), Albert (Janette), Wayne (Lori), Judy (Barry), Myrtle Lilley; special friends: Elsie Anderson, Elsie Deger, Lenore Smith, Terry Huber, Dan Metanczuk, Gord MacGillivray, Pat and Barrie Bergstrom: her friends in her block; both Ruth's, Henry, Jessie, Bernice, Charlie, Ray, Margaret K and all her other relatives and friends. The family would like to give their sincerest thanks to Dr. Michael Moon at the St. Boniface Hospital for his compassion and kindness and to all the nurses and health care aides there that took such good care of our girl, whether it was singing to her, comforting her or just sitting and holding her hand when she wanted, they went above and beyond to take care of her. Relatives and friends are invited to 115 Niakwa Road on Monday, January 31 at 12:30 p.m. for a gathering to celebrate Marge's life. A private family interment will take place prior to celebration. In lieu of flowers, should friends desire, donations may be made to any no kill animal shelter, Humane Society or the St. Boniface Hospital Foundation. When I come to the end of the road And the sun has set for me, I want no rites in a gloom filled room Why cry for a soul set free? Miss me a little, but not too long And not with your head bowed low, Remember the love that we once shared Miss me, but let me go. For this is a journey we all must take And each must go alone It's all part of the Master's Plan A step on the road to home. So when you are lonely and sick at heart Go to the friends we know, And bury your sorrow in doing good deeds Miss me but let me go. The Coutu family in care of arrangements: E. J. COUTU CO.
