Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMARIE THERESE LABARRE The passing of our Mom, Marie Therese Labarre on Friday, January 28, 2011 in St. Pierre, Manitoba, at the age of 90 years. Mom was a hard worker throughout her whole life, she was never one to back down from any challenge. She provided a loving home life for her four children. She was a strong believer in the faith of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. She enjoyed life to the fullest some of which included playing the organ at Mass, singing, gardening, painting, cooking and her family/friends. She ran the race and fought a good fight and is now dancing with the Angels on the streets of gold. She was preceded by her parents Celestine and Julien, and leaves to mourn her siblings Bernadette, Gabrielle, Cecile, Denis, Robert, Jules, Angeline, Fernand and Adele; deceased siblings Jean, Marcelle, Annette and Marie. She is also survived by her children Monique, Frank (Frances), Gilbert and Lionel (Terry); grand-children Patrick, Catherine (Derek), Michelle, Laurie-Lisa (Glenn), Aaron (Tamara), Nicole (Allan), Eveynn (Amanda), Adrian (Janice), Michael (Janet), Jacqueline (Treavor); 16 great-grandchildren and many other relatives too numerous to mention extending to her special friends. Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus. And I heard a voice from heaven saying unto me, write, blessed are the dead which die in the Lord from henceforth: Yea, saith the Saint, that they may rest from their labours; and their works do follow them. Memorial mass will be held Saturday, January 29, 2011 at 1:30 p.m. at the Parish of Blessed Margaret Catholic Church, St. Malo, MB officiated by Fr. Shaput. The family invites you to join them for a luncheon after the service. PRAIRIELAND FUNERAL HOME 447 SELKIRK AVE, WINNIPEG 226-7581 OR 866-661-7555
