KATHERINE STOLAR November 11, 1904 - January 27, 2011 Peacefully on January 27, 2011, Mom passed away at Holy Family Home at the age of 106. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by her daughter Patricia and tiny Maltese dog Callie. She was predeceased by her husband Michael in 1971. Mom was born in the Ukraine and immigrated to Canada in her early twenties. She was involved in the real estate business for many years, operating a rental property. Mom loved to go to the race track and play newspaper bingo. She was extremely lucky at both and won many newspaper bingos throughout the years. A special thanks to the staff at Holy Family Home, Unit 2A, especially her caregivers Kathy, Minnie, Grace, Anna Lee and many others for their kind and compassionate care. Also a special thanks to Sister Epiphany of Sister Servants of Mary Immaculate for her many prayers. A private graveside service will be held at All Saints Cemetery, 4535 Main Street on Tuesday, February 1, 2011. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Winnipeg Humane Society, 43 Hurst Way, Winnipeg. I Love You Rest in Peace My Dear Mother. CROPO FUNERAL CHAPEL 586-8044
