HAROLD PETER PIETRACCI On January 27, 2011, Harold Peter Pietracci passed away peacefully at the age of 88 years. Harold leaves to mourn his loving wife of 57 years, Mariann; children, Ken (Dianne), Donna (Scott), Debbie (Brian), as well as six grand-children and one great-grandchild on the way. He also leaves to mourn extended family and friends. Harold was born in Winnipeg July 19, 1922. You could often hear him telling stories of his time served in the Air Force during the Second World War, where he was on active duty at the front line. After returning from the service, he was employed by Dell's Electric until 1966. He left there to work at Winnipeg Transit System as an armature winder, where after 21 years of service, he retired in 1987 at the age of 65. Special thanks to the caring staff of 3 East Palliative Care Unit at Riverview Health Centre where Harold spent his last days. Prayers will be said on Monday, January 31 at 7:00 p.m. at St. Anthony of Padua Roman Catholic Church, 250 Burrin Avenue. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, February 1 at 10:00 a.m. also at the church. Interment will be at a later date for immediate family only. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Harold's memory to CancerCare Manitoba. You fought a valiant battle and now you lay in peace. CROPO FUNERAL CHAPEL 586-8044
