JACK BARRETT DEVANEY Jack Barrett Devaney passed away after a long illness on January 23, 2011 at the age of 83 years. He leaves to mourn his passing, sons Jeff (Cheryl), and Doug (Darlene), grandchildren Matthew, Brittany, Jayson, Tyler, Taryn and Leah. He was predeceased by his loving wife of 58 years Dorothy Jean in 2009. Dad was employed by CN Rail for 43 years. He started out as a messenger and retired as a car department supervisor in 1987. Dad and mom enjoyed travelling and were able to visit many destinations including Mexico, Columbia, Cuba, Hawaii, England, Spain and Portugal. Cremation has taken place and a private family service will be held at a later date. Flowers are gratefully declined. If friends are so inclined, they are invited to make a donation to Concordia Hospital to enhance patient care.
