Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryLUCILLE ANGELA HRABI (BOWIEC) On January 29, 2011, Lucille peacefully passed away at Holy Family Home, Winnipeg, in the presence of her son John and Helen. Lucille is survived by her son John (Helen) of Kenora; granddaughters, Barbara (Robert) Morgan for Fort Frances, Beverly (David) Ellis of Burlington, ON, Bonnie (David) Fisher of Ramsay, New Jersey; great-grandchildren, Matthew, Graeme, Hillary and Jennifer; sister Elizabeth Williams of Toronto and extended family. Lucille was predeceased by her first husband Alexander Bowiec (1972) and second husband Kazimir Hrabi (2003); sisters, Ann, Mary and Stella. Lucille was born on June 28, 1910 in Czechoslovakia to John and Emily Ambrozik. They immigrated to Pennsylvania and then to Broad Valley where they bought a farm. She loved music and travel. Although no formal education, she was able to acquire many talents - a great cook, splendid gardener and an entrepreneur. She worked for several camp operators. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, February 2 at 10:30 a.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street. A private family interment to take place in Kenora at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Lucille's memory to the CNIB. May perpetual light shine upon her and may God grant her eternal rest. Wieczny odpoczynek racz jej dac Panie.
