GERARD (GERRY) FRECHETTE Accidentally on January 28, 2011, Gérard Fréchette and his wife Florence Bird passed away. Gerry is lovingly remembered by his sons: Richard (Lisa), Maurice (Mabel), Ronald (Trish) and daughter Suzanne, 13 grandchildren, one great-grandchild; also Jeannette Viallet, the mother of his children. He will also be missed by his brothers and sisters: Roger (Therese), Claude (Denise), Irene (Gérald) Choiselat, Jeanne (Joanne), Lynne and Michelle (Donald) Tetrault, and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his second wife, Aileen, his parents Eugène and Marie, his brother Jean and his nephew Jean-Pierre Fréchette. Gerry was a man of many talents, a gifted musician, avid fisherman and a Blue Bomber fan. Gerry enjoyed leading bible study; he was a very generous soul and the first to help anybody in need. Gerry was electronically savvy, helping everyone with joy in this field. His brothers will miss him dearly, especially their regular get together at Tim Hortons. In keeping with Gerry's wishes, cremation has taken place and a celebration of his life will be held on Friday, February 4 at 11:00 a.m. in Holy Family Church, 778 Archibald St. If desired, donations may be made to Siloam Mission, 300 Princess Street, Winnipeg, MB R3B 1M3.
