CAMERON JACK WALKER It is with sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our loved son, brother, cousin, boyfriend, nephew and great-grandson, on Friday, January 28, 2011. Cameron will be remembered as an enthusiastic, energetic teenager who was a valued and loved member of a large and loving family. We will miss his sense of humour, his smile, his infectious laughter and his charismatic personality. His good gaming skills created many frustrating moments for his brother Boe, or cousins who played against him. He loved animals. He was sensitive and caring, not wanting to see them suffer. His cats Jack and Dolly were his great friends. He was heartbroken not to be part of his son Tyrell's life. Cameron had a great relationship with his second cousin Khloe who was like his own child. His loving ways meant he would value his time he spent with her; he could often be seen crawling on the floor or cooing to make her smile. Cameron often would show his affection to those he loved. Many fond moments have been shared amongst family members, as his youthful exuberance and sense of humour provided many tender moments. He will be missed deeply by his mother who shared many evenings having late night talks. He was ecstatic about starting his second semester at Fort Richmond Collegiate. His goal was to attend the Winnipeg Technical Institute for welding; culminating in his employment in the family business. The center of family festivities was at John and Teresa Walker's home. It was here the family congregated for holidays and celebrations where fun and laughter were the cornerstones. This past Christmas, family and friends laughed, reminisced and sang, as usual. It was a time cherished by all the family and friends who attended. Your family will love you forever and you will be fondly missed. Cameron is survived by his great-grandma, his loving mother Kim, father Randy, stepfather Dan and brother Boe. Uncle John and Auntie Teresa, their children Jack, Kristin (Justin, Khloe), Taylor; Uncle Craig and Auntie Debbie, their children Brittany (Tyson), Brenden (Danielle) and Brooke; Auntie Robin and cousin Amber. Cameron's special friends were Randy Hiebert, Raymond and Robyn Cook. The love of his life was Amber Chabot. He was predeceased by his grandparents Jack and Gail Walker and he will be with them in eternity. The family would like to express their gratitude to Cam's friend Deon Yakiwchuk as well as the Winnipeg Police Service members who were so supportive throughout this emotionally demanding experience. We also appreciate the efforts of the local media who made the effort to accurately report this incident. The celebration of Cam's life will be held on Thursday, February 3 at 2:00 p.m. in the United Church of Meadowood, 1111 Dakota St. In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that donations may be sent to CancerCare Manitoba Foundation Inc., 675 McDermot Ave., RM ON1160, Winnipeg, MB R3E 9Z9.
