Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryKONRAD JACKIW (nee LASHUK) 1980 2011 Passed away suddenly on Friday January 21, 2011 at his home in Red Deer, Alberta. Konrad will be lovingly remembered by his son Kevin; girlfriend Cynthia and her daughter Hope; father Bob; mother Valerie; step-father Alex; sister Krystal (Jorge) and niece Luna; grandmother Dora; grandmother Addy; Uncle Sam (Bev); Uncle Rick; Uncle Barry (Kim); Aunt Bonnie (Tim) and numerous cousins and friends. Konrad was predeceased by his grandfathers Joe Lashuk and Stan Jakiw. Konrad was born in Winnipeg, MB at Grace Hospital on August 14, 1980. He lived here until he was 18, at which point he moved to Calgary, Alberta to join the Gas Company. Konrad moved on to Red Deer, Alberta to further his career with the oil rigs. This job took him from Northern Canada to Yemen to Mauritania, but his second home was there, in Red Deer, with his multitude of friends and family. A Memorial Service will be held at Glen Eden Funeral Home, 4477 Main Street, on Saturday, February 5 at 2:00 p.m. with interment to follow. A gathering of family and friends will take place in the Glen Eden Reception Centre afterwards.
