PATRICIA MARY BONNEVILLE (LANGDON) -
Date of Passing: Feb 03, 2011
Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryPATRICIA MARY BONNEVILLE (nee LANGDON) 1926 - 2011 It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, Patricia Mary Bonneville on February 3, 2011 at St. Norbert Personal Care Home. Left to cherish her memory are children Bonny, Judy and David, Richard and Nicole, her grandchildren Danielle, Hilary, Jayne, Michelle, Nicole, Justin, Celine, Jordan, Tayler, Leslie and her great-grandchildren Benjamin, Blain, Damien and Penelope. Also left to mourn are her brothers David and Kathleen and Bernard, brothers-in-law Neil, Dennis and Karen as well as many nieces, nephews and extended family members too numerous to mention. Pat was predeceased by her beloved husband Douglas, her parents Oswald and Mary-Evelyn, brother Peter and sisters Veronica, Margaret and Louise. Wonderful Pat was born in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan on December 20, 1926, the third oldest of seven children, adoringly named Princess . She grew up in a happy and busy household. She was given the opportunity to study voice, eventually starring in many musical theatre productions. She also partook in dance and figure skating. Around 1951 she moved to Toronto, Ontario to continue her study of voice at the Royal Conservatory of Music. She joined a young people's group and it was there that she met her husband Doug. They married in 1953 and remained devoted to one another until his death in 1994. After dad obtained employment with R.C.A., they moved to London, Ontario and decided to start their family. A further transfer saw us relocated to Winnipeg in 1972. Our mom was a very loving and caring person who always had a kind word and was always there to offer whatever help she could. Her engaging and outgoing personality allowed her a variety of jobs, working at the C.I.B.C., a local doctor and performing product demonstrations. She was very involved with her church undertaking a variety of ministries over the years and was a lifelong member of the C.W.L. Her greatest gift to all was her singing voice - a gift which she shared freely. Her first priority was always her family and she was immensely proud of her children and grandchildren. She was delighted when she became a great-grandmother. As much as we will miss her, we take great solace in knowing she is finally reunited with our dad in heaven. We would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the staff at St. Norbert Personal Care Home for their wonderful care of our mother. A prayer vigil will be held on Monday, February 7, 2011 at 7:30 p.m. and the funeral liturgy on Tuesday, February 8, 2011 at 10:30 a.m. at Mary Mother of the Church, 85 Kirkbridge Drive with Father Carl Tarnopolski officiating. Flowers are gratefully declined, however, a donation to a charity of one's choice in memory of our mother would be appreciated. THOMSON IN THE PARK Condolences may be sent to www.thomsoninthepark.com

Sorry to hear of your mother's death. She was a good friend to my mother, Eddie MacDonald and family, when your family lived in London. One of my fondest memories of her is her singing at my wedding. IT WAS LOVELY. - Posted by: ROSEMARY MATHIES (Family) on: Feb 08, 2011
