LEONARD ROBINSON The family announces the passing of Len, husband of Olive, on Tuesday, February 1, 2011. Len is survived by his wife of 59 years, Olive; his three children Allan (Anne), Audrey (Barry) and Andrew (Karen); grandchildren Shane (Pam), Chris (Christine), Christine (Ben), Kyle (Sheila), Robert, Dylan and Jarrett; three great-grandchildren Blake, Brooke and Kerry; in-laws Ken, Pat and Dorothy. Len was predeceased by his parents Elizabeth and Herbert, brothers Don and Milt. Len lived his entire life in St. James. He enlisted in the Royal Canadian Navy and served overseas from 1942 to 1945. He was a proud employee of Molson Brewery for over 34 years. Dad enjoyed hunting and fishing and spending time at their cottage at Wendigo. He especially enjoyed his time spent supporting his grandchildren, often being referred to as the Hockey Teams #1 fan. Dad was always a gentle, supportive person. He especially enjoyed helping everyone at the lake. We would like to thank the staff at the Grace Hospital 3rd Floor N and Homecare, especially Catherine and Debbie. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or a charity of your choice. Memorial service will be held on Tuesday, February 8 at 2:00 p.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Avenue.
