MARY HILDEBRANDT Mary Hildebrandt passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 3, 2011 at the Grunthal Menno Home at the age of 82. Mom was happiest spending hours in her vegetable garden and tending to her prize roses. She loved long walks, investigating different species of birds and baking her famous brownies and ginger snap cookies for her family. She was predeceased by her husband Frank in 2005. She leaves to cherish her memory her children, Dennis (Shirl), Barry (Cory), John (Bonnie), Dale (Susan), Randy and Lori (Marc); grandchildren, Dustin (Kristen), Amber, Nathan, Bryanne, Chynna, Madison, Ryan, Erin, Cobi, Emi and Kaden; great-grandchildren, Ethan, Victoria and Rowen. She is survived by her brother John (Nettie) Wiens and her sister Elfrieda Sawatsky and predeceased by her sisters, Margaret Stefaniuk and Betty Johnson; sister-in-law Nettie Wiens; brothers-in-law, Nick Stefanuk, Harold Johnson and Peter Sawatsky. The family would like to express their thanks to the nurses and staff at the Menno Home. Funeral service will be held Monday, February 7 at 2:00 p.m. at Elim Mennonite Church in Grunthal.
