Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryWALTER A. LUNN On January 11, 2011, Walter (Wally) passed away peacefully at his home in White Rock, BC. Walter is survived by Laura, loving wife for 65 years, sons Christopher and Kevin (Linda), grandsons Jordan, Joseph, Matthew, Stephen and Michael, and niece Judy. Walter was predeceased by grandson Tyler and brother Murray. Born on 23 November 1918 near Somerset, MB, Walter grew up in Winnipeg. In the Second World War, he served with the Royal Canadian Army Medical Corps in Europe. After the war, Walter returned to Winnipeg and worked his way from mail sorter to human resources management with Canada Post and later Parks Canada. In 1984, four years into his retirement, Walter and Laura moved to White Rock, sharing many happy years of golfing, bowling and travelling. Family was foremost to Walter. He remains in our hearts and will be lovingly remembered. A family funeral was held in Surrey, BC.
