MILLY MOSKWA (nee BOSS) Peacefully on February 4, 2011 Milly passed away surrounded by her family. Mom would have turned 85 in March. Left to cherish her memory are her husband of 59 years, Stan, son Gord (Donna), daughters Lynne (Reid) Persoage and Michele (Marcel) Prairie, grandchildren Jen, Sam, Katelyn, Michael, Daniel and Sean, sisters Anne Blain and Jenny Keba, plus numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Mom was predeceased by her parents Andrew and Katherine, sisters Polly Chymyshyn, Mary Zelych and brothers Steve, Harry and Mike. Mom was born and raised in Rossdale, and moved to Winnipeg where she worked as a hairdresser. Mom and Dad moved out to Prawda in 1954 and started their family. Many close friendships were formed in Prawda. In 1968 the family moved back to Winnipeg. Mom cared for her family and also worked outside the home at various jobs, including Eaton's catalogue centre, the River Rouge, Great-West Life, Ludwick Catering and The Bay. Other than Eaton's, all her jobs involved food preparation and service. Mom enjoyed all aspects of food, especially having family and friends over to share it with. Milly was a very social woman and made friends wherever she went. She was very involved with her church and her faith was very strong. Mom is now in the angel choir. A service to honour Milly's life will be held Thursday, February 10, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Gerard Parish, 45 Foster Street. Pallbearers will be her grandchildren. A private family interment is planned. Thanks to the staff at St. Boniface Hospital, Emergency and Palliative Care units, for their care of Mom.
