VIVENCIO D. TORRES JR. Peacefully, with his family by his side, we regret to announce the sudden passing of a son, father, brother, grandfather, and a man with the biggest of hearts, on February 9, 2011. He is survived by his father Vivencio Torres Sr., mother Narcisa Torres, loving wife Concepcion Torres, children Rommel Torres (Riza), Maria Baker (Dwight), Maritess Torres-Wiebe-Herbert (Wade), Crisanto Torres, brothers and sisters Josephine Bedruz (Nestor), Emelda Nucom (Jaime), Geraldo Torres (Conchita), grandchildren Joshua, Jon, Vince, Arianna, Arrah, numerous cousins, nephews and nieces, Jonnie (Chris), Neri Ann, Patrick, Mark (Janice), Jason, Jamel, Alyza, Ryan, and Melvin, with all of their children and great-grandchildren Jhoden, Levi, Xavier, and Nolan. A man who always thought about others before himself, need not ask and he would be there with open arms. Compassionate. He will be remembered for his smile that would light up a room, and his priceless possession of family. He will be missed by close family and friends here and back home in the Philippines. Funeral service to be held on Saturday, February 12 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Edward's Church, 818 Arlington. Viewing will be held on Friday, February 11, at 6:00 p.m., with Prayer Service beginning at 7:00 p.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Avenue.
