MARGARET JEAN YEO MCMULLEN Peacefully, on December 13, 2010, Margaret Jean Yeo McMullen passed away at Riverview Health Centre at the age of 70 years. Remaining to forever cherish Jean's memory are her two sons, Kurtis James, Kyle Jon, and daughter, Karla Dee McMullen - forever Jean's pride and joy. Her three K's gave her the support she needed to carry on during her courageous battle with cancer. She is also survived by Clarence, her ex-husband and father to her children, her two brothers, Jim and Jack, as well as sister, Joyce; along with each of their families. Jean will also be dearly missed by her many close friends and neighbours whom she considered to be just like family . Jean is now finally at home, eternally joined with her mother and father, Lillian and Jim Yeo, whom she loved so dearly. Her special charisma, along with her innate ability to laugh, was always an open invitation for others to come and join in the fun. Her legacy will always be remembered by her gift in music and her ability to entertain. One of Jean's greatest joys was to go to personal care homes with her special friend, Ozzie, as well as her little dog, Lacie, to sing, play guitar, and to dance with the elderly. Jean's spontaneity, free-spirit, and love of adventure kept her on many cross-country excursions - some planned only days before departure, packing up her old beloved van, all with the same goal - to visit friends and family, especially her nieces and nephews, whom she truly adored. Money for these expeditions was never an issue, as Jean always promised that jobs would be made along the way . A service at Transcona Memorial United Church will be announced and held at a future date, followed by a Celebration of Life Party - A party - not a funeral!! (Jean's exact words!) We love you, Mom. You're the best. Thank you for always being there for us kids. We will never forget all of your kindness and love . XOXOXO In lieu of flowers, please make all donations to the Winnipeg Humane Society, in honour of Jean's memory.
