MONDA MARY THOMAS September 2, 1945 - February 6, 2011 Born in Selkirk, MB to Reuben and Beatrice Thomas. Monda lived her young years in Balsam Bay, MB. She was devoted to her children Terri Lynn Murray and Darrouel; Monda Thomas and Jackson; Tom and Tara Thomas. She spent countless happy hours entertaining her five grandchildren, taking them to live theatre, the Fringe Festival and many a card game was played around her table. She will be greatly missed by Brittany (Terri Lynn); Zeann and Quinlan (Monda); Ashley and Paige (Tom and Tara). She was predeceased by her parents Reuben and Beatrice Thomas; brothers Earl and Lorne Thomas; sister Anne Lassi; nephews Bill Lecuyer and Mundy Thomas. Surviving her are sister Wilma Gunn and husband Jim; brother Ted Thomas and wife Irene; sister Mable Danwich. You are invited to join us in celebrating Monda's life at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, February 19, 2011 at the Grand Marais Recreation Centre, Grand Marais, MB. In lieu of flowers a donation may be made in Monda's memory to a food bank of your choice.
