URSULA BERTA MUELLER
Born: Mar 21, 1921
Date of Passing: Jan 31, 2011
Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryURSULA BERTA MUELLER Ursula Berta Mueller (nee Maske) entered this world on March 27, 1921 and left it on January 31, 2011, a span of almost 90 years and a life well-lived. She now joins some who have made the transition before her, husband Konrad, brother Guenther and grandson Jason. Although she will be missed by many, this mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, mother-in-law, aunt and friend passed on willingly and peacefully at Victoria Hospital, with the acknowledgment her time had come. Ursula was born in Landsberg an der Warte in what was then Germany but is now Poland. With the loss of home and job in post-war Germany, and a young son, Horst (Harry) in tow, a decision was made to start anew in Canada. Her exceptional work ethic and commitment to financial security soon resulted in the purchase of a home, followed by a cottage at Twin Beaches on Lake Manitoba. It was here that some of her best years unfolded with her cherished grandchildren: Jason, Carrie and Kim and her friends the Proctors, next door. Those who knew Ursula described her as loving, generous, courageous, good friend, hard working, feisty, helpful, giving and dependable; it seems this list could go on so much longer. At her age, she had lost many close friends yet there were always others willing to fill the gap. According to her wishes she has been cremated and will be interred at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens. A small, private service will be conducted at a later date. Anyone wishing to commemorate Ursula could do so with a donation to the Jason Mueller Memorial Fund. Contributions may be made to Red River College, C306, 2055 Notre Dame Ave., Winnipeg, MB R3H 0J9; Attn: Margot Hamilton.

Dear Harry, Just found out thru Mrs. Ringewald that your mom had passed away, I am truly sorry for your loss. She was a great woman, her memories I will treasure. We got to spend alot of week-ends with all of you at the cottage Twin Lakes... her and I always got along great, I could always find a hug or a shoulder to cry on. I also remember our days at the home playing cards. I am just sorry that we had lost touch over the years. I just wanted to send my condolences.
