ANNE NEFF Peacefully on Tuesday, February 8, 2011 Anne Neff passed away at Deer Lodge Centre at the age of 93. Surviving is her daughter Bev Johnston (Jim), grandsons Brett of Vancouver, Bradford of Winnipeg and Bennett of Kelowna. She is also survived by her sister Eva of Ottawa and her nephew Gary. Anne was predeceased by her husband Bernie in 2007, her sisters, Alice and Mary, and brother John. Anne was born in Kipling, Saskatchewan coming to Winnipeg as a young woman. She was employed as a seamstress and later joined the Canadian Women's Army Corp. during the war years. Following this she met the love of her life, Bernie, and they started a long and happy life together. Anne and Bernie enjoyed their family and home life as well as summers at the cottage. Memorial service will be held on Monday, February 14 at Thomson In the Park , 1291 McGillivray Blvd. at 10:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Juvenile Diabetes Foundation, Alzheimer's Society or a charity of your choice. A special thank you to the staff of Lodge 7 Deer Lodge Centre for their care and compassion during these past three years.
