ELAINE ROBERTA BAUERLEIN August 23, 1938 - February 7, 2011 After a long illness, Elaine passed away on Monday, February 7, 2011 at Gimli Hospital. Elaine will be lovingly remembered by husband, Gerry, children, Joel and Cheryl Pearson (Stacy, Scott), Curtis Pearson, Stephen and Cathy Pearson (Carmen, Evan, Shaun) and Michele Gibb and Carl Gibb (Mikayla, Colton), sister, Jackie and Rudy Sorokowski and brother, Gordon and Elaine Williams, Gerry's children, Jay and Diane Bauerlein, Dean and Sandy Bauerlein (Mackenzie, Mikaela), as well as other family members and special friends, Peggy and Jim Jackson. Elaine and Gerry enjoyed many wonderful years living at the lake, walking, sipping coffee and talking. She and Gerry enjoyed traveling and spending time with family and friends. Memorial service will be 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 15, 2011 at Glen Lawn Funeral Home, 455 Lagimodiere Blvd. The family wish to extend their thanks to Dr. AlJafari, Dr. Patel, staff of Gimli Community Health Centre, and nurses at Gimli Hospital Palliative Care.
