DIANNE BANKS (nee ROBB) After 76 years of a full and wonderful life, Dianne died unexpectedly on February 9, 2011 in Hamilton, Ontario. Predeceased by her mother Dorothy, father Edwin and brother Dickson. After relocating from Winnipeg in 1972, she remained a prairie girl at heart. Dianne and Dave shared 55 years of marriage and five children: Cheryl (Mike), Debbie (Jerry), Michelle (Dan), Scott (Gail) and Paul. A prized role for Dianne was being Grams to Jen, Steve, Michael, Mark, Jeffrey and Felisha. She loved spending time chatting with her kids and grandkids either at home or at the cottage near Minaki, hearing about their lives, offering her words of wisdom, sharing her positive outlook on life, or leading a sing-song on the piano. Known for her exuberant outlook on life, kindness and concern for others, sense of humour and contagious laugh, Dianne enjoyed the love and affection of her many family and friends. Her aim was to make the world a better place, and in many ways she did. We love you, XOXOXO. Funeral Services held in Waterdown, Ontario. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to The Canadian Cancer Society, The Heart and Stroke Foundation or The Stephen Lewis Foundation.
