Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMARIA (MARIE) FARKASCH (nee RIEGER) Peacefully with her grandson by her side, Marie passed away on February 11, 2011 at Seven Oaks Hospital at the age of 88 years. Marie is survived by her son Walter (Nadia); grandson Robert (Sabine Langner-Farkasch) and great-granddaughter Julia Farkasch. She was predeceased by her husband Josef in 1981; mother Katharina in 1992; father Anton in 1957 and sister Aplon. Marie immigrated to Canada in 1953 and enjoyed her new life Canada. She was an avid gardener, an excellent seamstress, and continued the art of central European cooking. Marie enjoyed vacationing in Hawaii for many years. Special thanks to the staff of Maples Personal Care Home for their excellent care over the past three years. A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, February 16 at 10:30 a.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street at Inkster. Interment to follow in Glen Eden Memorial Gardens. Flowers are gratefully declined. 586-8044
