DEBORAH JANE RUSSELL February 2, 1951 - February 12, 2011 Deborah was all about passion - for art, life, creative energy and humanity. Surrounded by love at home, she left us in her sleep. She was predeceased by her father Churchill Davidson Russell and her partner Glenn Howarth. Deborah is survived by her loving family: her mother Gladys Russell; brothers David and Douglas; her son Aaron and daughter Carly; and numerous nieces and nephews. She is remembered by an extraordinary number of people whom she touched throughout her life along with her close circle of friends who supported her over the past year: Joy Connor, Carol Campbell (Athey), Carin Jette, John Callender and Robert, Mary-ellen and Steven Threadkell. Deborah lived, loved, and died with grace. She was kind, generous, gentle and always left people better for having met her. We will all join together again in Heaven. In lieu of flowers, it is Deborah's wish that donations be made in her name to Victoria Hospice and Palliative Care Foundation - Stadacona Centre, 1510 Fort Street, Victoria, BC V8S 5J2 or www.victoriahospicefoundation.org under Ways to Give. Deborah's friends are invited to join the family at a Gathering of Love on Saturday, February 19 from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at 996 Amblewood Court, Victoria, BC.
