Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryCECILIA JO-ANNA WATT (nee COOK) Surrounded by the love of her family, our dear Cecilia passed into the arms of the Lord on February 14, 2011, Valentine's Day, at the St. Boniface Hospital at the age of 52 years. Cecilia will be lovingly remembered and sadly missed by her husband Tim, sons Jason and Daniel, her sisters Donna (Claude), Wanda (Steve), sister-in-law Linda (Terry), mother-in-law, Marg Watt, nieces and nephews, Kristina (Jim), Robert (Danelle), Jean-Paul (Sherri), Tarren and Callie. Cecilia was very fond of her cats and often enjoyed watching TV with Racoon nestled on her lap. She was predeceased by her parents Jean and Mike Cook, grandparents Anna and Joseph Hochman. Cecilia was born on December 30, 1958 in St. Boniface, living on the same street all her life. She and Tim proudly raised their sons in a home filled with love, fun, care and cats. Family gatherings small or large always made her happy and bubble with joy. As a child she attended the school for the Deaf (MSD) which was the beginning of her kinship with the deaf community. This relationship made her feel welcome and gave her great pleasure throughout the years. Cecilia enjoyed going to the lake, to the library, to work at Hu's on First Asian Bistro and reading her bible on a daily basis. She was sensitive, kind and appreciated all the important things in life - people, love and friendship. A celebration of Cecilia's life will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, February 19, 2011 at Glen Lawn Funeral Home, 455 Lagimodiere Blvd. Following the service a gathering of friends and family will also be held at Glen Lawn Reception Centre. A private family interment will be held at Glen Lawn Memorial Gardens. The family wishes to thank the staff on 6A medicine at St. Boniface Hospital for providing comfort in a very caring way. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Cecilia to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Manitoba or the Deaf Centre of Manitoba.
