RITA FLORENCE GIBSON (nee LUPIEN) December 13, 1930 - February 16, 2011 It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved wife and mother, Rita on February 16, 2011. Rita passed away at Deer Lodge Centre with her husband Ronald (William) of 51 years, and her immediate family by her side. She is survived by her sister Rose of BC. She will be sadly missed by her husband Ronald; children, Lynn, Charlotte, Bill (Valerie), Jim (Alexis); her grandchildren, Rhonda, Shelley, Lisa, Jennifer, Trevor, Cathy and Grant; as well as her 10 great-grandchildren, Emma, Adam, Seth, Holden, Brianna, Calder, Denver, Blake, Landon and Conner. Grandma was an excellent cook, baker, seamstress, and the one person who never forgot a single birthday or anniversary. Grandma's love will live on in each of us and the many wonderful memories she shared with us all. Cremation has taken place. A celebration of Rita's life will take place at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, February 21, 2011 at Green Acres Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Winnipeg Humane Society, 45 Hurst Way, Winnipeg, MB R3T 0R3.   • Rita she was everything to me. I was her little cookie. It has been about one and a half years since her death and I still cry for her. I miss her so much, that it is killing me.
