WILFRED RONALD MCQUAY (RON) Peacefully on February 13, 2011, Ronald McQuay passed away at Kildonan Personal Care Home. Ron was born July 29, 1919 in Dauphin Manitoba where he worked alongside his father and brother on the family farm. He was predeceased by his wife Margaret, and sister Roberta. He is survived by his son Richard (Barbara), grandson Richard (Shari), granddaughter Tracey (Justin), two great-granddaughters Avari and Taveya, and brother Murray. He was a longtime resident of East Kildonan where he owned and operated Henderson Jewellers for over 55 years. He was often seen walking around EK either with his dog or one of his grandkids. Ron loved to spend time with his family at his cottage in Wanasing Beach. We would like to thank Kildonan Personal Care Home for their care and compassion. Cremation has taken place and a private memorial service and interment will be planned this summer.
