TERRI LYNN SUMMERS DAHL It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Terri Lynn Summers Dahl on February 15, 2011 in Calgary, Alberta. Terri was predeceased by her father, Norris Summers, mother, Darlyne Summers and brother, Paul Summers. Terri will be lovingly remembered by her daughter, Jade Dahl, husband Peter of 16 years, her two lifelong best friends, Anita Chambers and Judi McQueen Dudek. Also left to mourn are her extended family and friends too numerous to mention. Terri was born and raised in Transcona. After leaving school Terri was employed with the Health Sciences Centre as a Ward Clerk. Terri moved to Alberta in 1988. Terri would especially have liked to thank everyone who made her last months and days so comfortable and for doing all the little things she asked of them. A special thank you to the staff at Southwood Hospice. A celebration of Terri's life will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 24, 2011 at Truth and Life Worship Centre, 51 Richfield Avenue, Winnipeg with Rev. Dr. M.W. Chambers and Pastor Calvert Layne officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Southwood Hospice, 211 Heritage Drive SE, Calgary, AB or The Winnipeg Humane Society.

I know this is late, but I just heard of her passing and felt compelled to write. The one thing I will always remember about Terri is her smile. She could light up a room.
